peter pan
If you're thinking, just what we need, another version of
an old, over-told story - think again. If you didn't dig Hook,
or any of the lame TV versions of the flick, no fears - this
new Peter Pan movie will make you love the flying boy again.
The 2003 version of Peter Pan, brought to the big screen this
time by Universal Pictures, is a pretty good adaptation of
the original story. The whole adventure starts with Peter
eavesdropping on Wendy Darling as she recounts imaginary tales
of pirates and princesses to her lil' bros John and Michael.
It's Courtesy of Universal filled with old-skool details like
Peter losing his shadow, John wearing a top hat and the big,
old ticking crock.
Everything from Tinkerbell to Hook's featherless parrot will
make you smile. Jeremy Sumpter (who plays Peter Pan) and Rachel
Hurd-Wood (who plays Wendy), are incredible to watch. They
have great chemistry together. The Lost Boys and Wendy's brothers
are a total giggle-fest. Hook (played by Jason Isaacs) is
the perfect combination of scary and silly. The biggest scene
stealer is the giant, ticking crocodile!
This movie is, hands-down, the best version of Peter Pan ever
made. You'll be cheering and laughing the whole way through.
