Although
moving "Joe Millionaire" to 8:00 p.m. could ignite
the 9:00 p.m. hour, the real question to ponder is whether fans
of reality will stick around for a serious Romeo-&-Juliet-type
drama set against the backdrop of California's adult-film industry.
Headlined by Ron Silver, and looking to capitalize on the young
adult fans of "Joe Millionaire," grabbing the remote
at 9:00 p.m. for CBS's "Everybody Loves Raymond" or
"Monday Night Football" on ABC might still be hard
to resist. As much as calling a show "Skin" could
get people talking, will anyone outside of urban markets really
be watching? |
